The Tooch Posted November 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2013 Don't know if anyone has posted this before? This is a Canadian company making custom parts for the Spyder and doing custom Trikes. "Vertika Trykes" one of the interesting customs they do is they take a Gold Wing and cross it with a Spyder. I don't really know anything about them but the thing looks awesome! Could almost see me on a trike.
Carbon_One Posted November 7, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 7, 2013 Certainly different than most trikes using the Gold Wing as a base. Larry
darthandy Posted November 7, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 7, 2013 Here's a shot from an old Cycle World issue from the 80's. I guess if you really want a trike and haven't got the money you just do what you can with your Wing! Andy
bongobobny Posted November 7, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2013 About a month ago I was contemplating turning the '84 into a backwards trike...
jonesy Posted November 7, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 7, 2013 3 or 4 years ago I saw this Goldwing at Americade that a major trike builder had a kit to turn a Goldwing into a 4 wheeler. Can't remember the builder's name.
bongobobny Posted November 7, 2013 Share #6 Posted November 7, 2013 Probably Hannigan, they did a few Quad Wings...
friesman Posted November 8, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 8, 2013 I like these front trikes as they let you lean into a corner. They say they can convert almost anything, but ive never seen a pic of a Goldwing or a Venture as a tilting 3 wheeler. Not being able to lean would probably be the biggest reason that would keep me away from a regular trike. http://www.tiltingmotorworks.com/ Brian [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHXKuFcOF-0]Tilting Motor Works - YouTube[/ame]
