Being the new 'kid' on the block, is there ever one in Minnesota? If so, when? If not, How do you organize one? Is it worth the time and effort to get one scheduled for next spring? Input from those that have done these in other areas of the country would be great.. Input from those interested in attending one in Minnesota would be great also..

The organized part is easy.

If you have it they will come.

So since you said in the spring, in MN, that would mean July?:whistling:

Try not to plan it to close to other events, like Dons MD or the WI MD.

The MN Maint Day is held in conjunction with the Pork in the Pines Pig Roast over the Labor Day long week end.

Next year that will be Aug 29 thru Sep 1, 2014

That being said, if you would be interested in putting something together earlier in the year that might just work.

Sounds good to me, I would come.

I have some ideas as what would help and some needs.

PM if you like or call may work better.

Located the thread on the last Pork in the Pines... Dang, I wish my bike had been put back together by then as I would have tried to make that one.. I am assuming it is always on Labor Day weekend so I have my Calendar marked for that one in 2014.

Have been getting some PM's on possibly holding a meet and eat/maintenance day in the spring. Thanks for the feedback on making sure there would be no timeline clash with anyone in neighboring States/Provinces who have already grandfathered their event in. Seriously considering pursuing this further. Any other thoughts are always most welcome!
