Carbon_One Posted November 2, 2013 #2 Posted November 2, 2013 Good news for those that would want change their own tires. I sure like using mine since 05 and have gotten my monies worth out of it. Larry
Squidley Posted November 2, 2013 #3 Posted November 2, 2013 We here in Houston have used the one at Kregs (Doodle) dozens upon dozens of times. I'll bet we have changed 50 tires with that one. I think I'll go buy one for her at my place so we dont have to transport between the 2 houses anymore....Thanks for the links Jeff

Larry My club just asked me to research tire changers. Do you think this would be a good choice, used in a club with 11 bikes, sport, cruisers and touring?
RedRider Posted November 2, 2013 Author #5 Posted November 2, 2013 My club just asked me to research tire changers. Do you think this would be a good choice, used in a club with 11 bikes, sport, cruisers and touring? Might be a lot of usage for a relatively cheap tire changer. Might want to look at a No-Mar changer since the difference in cost wouldn't be that significant spread among 11 folks. It's a little heavier duty. Just my $0.02. RR
RedRider Posted November 2, 2013 Author #6 Posted November 2, 2013 Think I am going to ask for one for Christmas. Problem I have is where I want to put it is where my son has his drum set. Sure don't want him moving that noise maker into the house. RR
Carbon_One Posted November 3, 2013 #7 Posted November 3, 2013 I'd 2nd RedRider on this too. If I didn't already have the HF changer I'd seriously consider the No-Mar brand. Larry

RR +1 on the No-Mar, I have one and it is the best.
cowpuc Posted November 4, 2013 #9 Posted November 4, 2013 I grabbed one of their bead breakers, talk about a handy little tool - especially for swapping tires on the road!!
dacheedah Posted November 4, 2013 #10 Posted November 4, 2013 I have a no mar bar and its awesome . . .
wizard Posted November 4, 2013 #11 Posted November 4, 2013 Hey guys, thanks for the information. I am going to check out the No-Mar brand. It sounds like it is well liked by the members here.

RedRider Posted November 4, 2013 Author #13 Posted November 4, 2013 So mount the tire changer in the house where the drum set would have come to. Hmmmm. Interesting thought. That only leaves a question of "Would I have enough money to buy more motorcycles after subtracting alimony?" RR
