Thinking about a Corbin seat front and back for my 99 RSV anyone used these seats on a RSV if so need input. My wife feels that the Yamaha seat sits her too much forward and I would like center of gravity lower. I put a Corbin on a 1500 Gold Wing once and wow it was a huge difference center of gravity dropped and the bike rode and handled like a dream. Could not even tell wife was on behind so give me some input if you have a Corbin and a RSV My bike is a 99 RSV thanks.

I run a Corbin on the '07, and have another waiting in the wings for the '99, and it works for me. However, did you know that the trunk can be moved back a few inches to give the passenger more room?? Also on the lower center of gravity. Compared to the OEM seat(s) the Corbin is much heavier. I just shipped a set of pillowtops to another member and they only weighed 7#'s total. The Corbin weighs 15+ pounds unpacked. Probably closer to 17 in the box. This will not lower the center of gravity on an RSV.. Unless the Corbin is a custom it will not let the rider sit any lower in the saddle... Hope this helps a bit.....

Contact Rick Butler about his seat modification.

I bought the seats from Condor and Rick is reworking them now.

Here is the infor on moving the trunk back. I did this on my 07 and it made a huge difference in room for the passenger.
