tufftom4 Posted October 27, 2013 #1 Posted October 27, 2013 It has been a while since we have seen low 60's in the morning here in Fl and low 80's for a high and low humidity now is the time to ride here I am thinking of getting a M&E together at http://www.archiesseabreeze.com/. Tom
Squidley Posted October 27, 2013 #2 Posted October 27, 2013 I left out yesterday morning at about 6:30 headed to see Van Avery in Sweeny Texas. It was 52 degrees when I left and going through Houston was great with hardly any traffic. Once the sun came up it warmed up quickly into the low 80's. 250 mile round trip, and for the 1st time in I can't remember when I was able to ride and relax
brd7666 Posted October 27, 2013 #4 Posted October 27, 2013 The weather has been awesome. I had to go to the grocery store yesterday to get a Sunpass. I ended up riding for over an hour and a half. The weather is too nice to pass it up.
bongobobny Posted October 27, 2013 #5 Posted October 27, 2013 Hey Tom, next time we're down there maybe we can go there for lunch!!
Flyinfool Posted October 27, 2013 #6 Posted October 27, 2013 Yup this is the best riding weather of the year. High 30s to low 40s in the morning and highs of mid 50s. It really don't get any better than that. Fall colors are just a bit past peak right now but still gorgeous. You can have your 80s, by mid 80s I'm starting to think about parking till it cools off. With the 40s and 50s I can be very comfy with all the gear. I can only take off so much to cool down for riding before I get arrested........
gez Posted October 27, 2013 #7 Posted October 27, 2013 Tom Got date and time in mind? How about TODAY!
tufftom4 Posted October 27, 2013 Author #8 Posted October 27, 2013 It would have to be a Sat I spend my Sundays with my Dad now that he is here.
gez Posted October 27, 2013 #9 Posted October 27, 2013 It would have to be a Sat I spend my Sundays with my Dad now that he is here. I'll be out of town the next few weekends. So, I'm off for a trip around the Lake today. Ride safe my friend.
Mike G in SC Posted October 27, 2013 #10 Posted October 27, 2013 Took a dozen bikes from the Columbia, SC area and rode to Beaufort, SC for lunch yesterday. Started out at 32 at the house, was to shirt sleeve by lunch. Then had to put it all back on before we got home after dark. Sure going to miss Daylight Savings Time! Makes it great for day trips.
