Helppppppppppp saddle bag Blues

:confused24:I just bought some saddlebag guard rails for my 2007 venture. I have read the page on the mod to bring the lines down but mine seems fine in the stock hole.......but I cant get the silly plug out to bolt the babies on?????????? I tried to push it, pop it, then thought allen keys?? I see there is a bolt at the back but cant get the plug out. I was about to drill it out and thought maybe I should post my query online to see if I am just missing some thing simple ???

Just get a sharp knife under the edge of the plug and pry it out!

Its plastic!

thank you was thinking it should be just that easy, I guess I was not being assertive enough with the plug. Ill put some more elbow into it......
