I know it's talked about a lot and grease is what's needed ....every one says wait to you change tires...I still have 5-8,000 miles left on rear tire before I have to change it...the clicking is getting louder and clicking all the time forward and backwards. Question what is making the tic, tic, tic noise? ...and can it wait till I change the tire?.....is damage occurring ? 2000 RSV

I have had a significant rear end noise for quite a while now. I have been assured that is entirely due to my eating habits.....

How many miles on the bike? Could be a bad wheel bearing.

More than likely the pins just need greased in the rear wheel.
