DragonRider Posted October 20, 2013 #1 Posted October 20, 2013 This may shock some but others, maybe not, but if you know my wife very well, it will. I am getting ready to have back surgery that will put me down for a few months, which means no work, no riding, not much of anything, and out of the blue Charlene says she wants me to teach her how to ride the trike..............when she first mentioned it, I was speechless, I had to ask her again, because I didnt think I heard her right, but I did. So it looks like she will be learning how very shortly. Well one worry I wont have is her dropping it.......:no-no-no:..........
etcswjoe Posted October 20, 2013 #2 Posted October 20, 2013 I blame Annie she put the idea in Bobbi's head. We will be praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Squidley Posted October 20, 2013 #3 Posted October 20, 2013 Good for her Lewis to want to try it atleast. She may not care for it, but she's atleast trying, good on her Good luck with your surgery too my friend
Guest Posted October 21, 2013 #4 Posted October 21, 2013 Good luck with your surgery, Lewis and good luck with the riding lessons. Im sure both will turn out just fine.
86er Posted October 21, 2013 #5 Posted October 21, 2013 Actually, Lewis, for those of us that know Charlene, it's really not that shocking! Good luck with the lessons and on the surgery. I was only off the bike a few weeks after my back surgery. And that was only because I recuperated at my sisters for 3 weeks. I knew that if I went home sooner I'd be back on it! If you need anything, you've got my #! Rock on Charlene!!!
Eck Posted October 21, 2013 #6 Posted October 21, 2013 Yep, I can already picture you riding behind her in the back seat Lewis............. Thumbs up Charlene!!!!!!!!
b2dad Posted October 21, 2013 #7 Posted October 21, 2013 Good luck on your surgery. If you want, I can come and teach Charlene how to ride the trike! LOL Tell her it's pretty easy to drive...just have to keep your eyes on everyone else. Driving defensively is alot of work! But well worth the ride. take care and let us know if you need anything. Patti
mini-muffin Posted October 21, 2013 #8 Posted October 21, 2013 Guess that means while you recover she can ride. Do what the doc says so you can recover well. I'm sure Charlene will do fine on the trike. I think you'll end up riding behind her or you may need to get her one of her own. Margaret
Aussie Annie Posted October 23, 2013 #9 Posted October 23, 2013 I blame Annie she put the idea in Bobbi's head. We will be praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Any progress on a trike?
