Freebird Posted October 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2013 On vacation for the next week. Right now I'm sitting in a cove on Lake Cumberland having a cup of coffee and checking email. Weather is cool but the sun is shining so it is all good. Towed the boat down and put in on Friday evening. Would I rather be riding? Probably. But Eileen LOVES being on the water so I can compromise from time to time.

bongobobny Posted October 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 20, 2013 Yah! Other than the operating costs, I used to enjoy boats as much as motorcycles...
Bob Myers Posted October 20, 2013 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2013 Careful, you are a little too close, less than 60 miles, all 3 bikes just sitting in the garage

JohnT Posted October 20, 2013 Share #7 Posted October 20, 2013 Yah! Other than the operating costs, I used to enjoy boats as much as motorcycles... Had our little ghetto cruiser out yesteday. Forgot how much fun it CAN be to be on the water. The nice thing about a 15 foot aluminum boat and a 50 horse outboard? Operational costs are minimal. Skid Posted October 21, 2013 Share #8 Posted October 21, 2013 Not a bad trade off in my opinion. I'd give up riding to be on the water.
Monty Posted October 21, 2013 Share #9 Posted October 21, 2013 You are an hour and 40 minutes from me. Too bad I have to work, or I'd take a ride up to see you.
Wade 2000 Posted October 21, 2013 Share #10 Posted October 21, 2013 What a life. Shall I ride or go boating? I'm sure you have earned the choice. As mentioned I'd turn off the electronics and enjoy your leisure time.
