JohnT Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Posted October 19, 2013 This is all my Canadian (and northern US) friends ....even if the USA folks don't get the joke about Fahrenheit feeling warmer.! A few of us live close enough. I have been told I have a "Canadian accent". (WTH is that?) I'll take 21 degrees any day. Your way that is. But this winter is going to be easier to take. Found a 99 Arctic Cat ZL 600 EFI with just 1800 original 2 owner miles. MINT, with reverse. Will help to take the boring out of winter.
Sylvester Posted October 20, 2013 #3 Posted October 20, 2013 I came down from Nebraska yesterday and got into Kansas and hit snow and 29 degrees. Be glad when I get back to North Carolina.
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted October 20, 2013 #4 Posted October 20, 2013 been so long since we used that word here.... it would be nice to see and hear for a change this winter.
spear Posted October 20, 2013 #5 Posted October 20, 2013 Snow? What's that? Would love some Down Under. Check out our latest 'weather'. http://www.skynews.com.au/topstories/article.aspx?id=916663&vId=4196303&cId=Top%20Stories&play=true
Pam Posted October 20, 2013 #6 Posted October 20, 2013 The older I get the more I dislike that word, But can't do anything about it yet
Bubber Posted October 20, 2013 #7 Posted October 20, 2013 I am sitting here looking out the sliding glass door watching the snow fall. I guess the riding season is definitely over for the year. Now to make the transition to winter and get the list of maintenance together that need to be done. Bubber
spear Posted October 20, 2013 #8 Posted October 20, 2013 Temperature in this area are heading towards 100 degrees today, and the fires aren't yet under control. Mass evacuations in the mountains. Not good at all.
Guest tx2sturgis Posted October 21, 2013 #9 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) I guess the riding season is definitely over for the year. Not here, and not with a Ural! [ame] [/ame] Edited October 21, 2013 by tx2sturgis
camos Posted October 21, 2013 #10 Posted October 21, 2013 been so long since we used that word here.... it would be nice to see and hear for a change this winter. Bite your tongue Kevin.
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted October 21, 2013 #11 Posted October 21, 2013 Bite your tongue Kevin. I am in the heating business Clive .... it means money to me.... I did send it to my son in Winterpeg as his first snow fell last night. He enjoyed it.
camos Posted October 21, 2013 #12 Posted October 21, 2013 I am in the heating business Clive .... it means money to me.... Whoa!! Hold up there Mr. Self Centred, don't be trying to make money from other peoples misery. I did send it to my son in Winterpeg as his first snow fell last night. He enjoyed it. I too can enjoy $!%w in other parts of the country. OK, so I do admit to not being perfect... sometimes.
