Hand grip weights............

What are the purpose of the original hand grip weights ? I plan on changing my 2012 RSV hand grips to Kuryakyn which do not have weights. Will this result in poor handling on curves and turns ?

I installed the kuryakyn grips with the kuryakyn end weights and they work great. Continuous vibration can lead to carpel tunnel problems.

I changed my grips and also reinstalled the end weights....few pic's of what I did.

Thanks for your help guys. Looks like i'll give it a shot with the ISO grips and weights.
