Condor Posted October 16, 2013 #26 Posted October 16, 2013 Condor did you go to the original Sweet Home School back in the late 50's? Really guys that is the school systems name in the Amherst area More like the mid 40's. There were two one rooms. One on Dodge Rd. an the other on French Rd. I believe I went to Dodge. It was multi graded. K thru 6?? Coal burning furnace in the back of the room, and outhouses... Some one sent me a news article about someone converting the school to a private residence a while back...
Condor Posted October 16, 2013 #28 Posted October 16, 2013 Man, you're old Jack... :backinmyday: :backinmyday: :backinmyday: :backinmyday:
PGunn Posted October 16, 2013 #29 Posted October 16, 2013 Actually, he lies!! We very seldom go to DQ, there are lots more better Ice Cream places around like the one in Batavia, the one in Boston, the one in Ellicottville, the one in East Aurora, etc... He we have great Ice Cream here just outside of Boston....

I believe one of then ended up on Sweet Home Road to preserve it. My Sister was the second grad class out of the new Senior High back in the early 60"s

Yammer Dan Posted October 16, 2013 #34 Posted October 16, 2013 The problem with purchasing a 2nd Gen is you get to the Ice Cream stops last. The 1st Genners will already have the good stuff... But plenty of sloppy 2nds can be had..... Most switch to the 2nd Gen when they get old and start to slow down.....
BIG TOM Posted October 16, 2013 #35 Posted October 16, 2013 Which dairy queen? The one on transit in williamsville? Usually the one in Lancaster..... :fnd_(16):

Freebird Posted October 16, 2013 #45 Posted October 16, 2013 Guys, only supporting members can view the profiles. That was decided a couple of years ago. Many members have personal information such as telephone numbers and etc. there and didn't want it open to possible spammers.

IronMike Posted October 18, 2013 #49 Posted October 18, 2013 Thanks for the post mike, I got a roadstar warrior, not the regular roadstar , but yamaha is a yamaha, reliable and priced well. I'd love to meet up. Where would you want to meet? My warrior is sleek and fast with no wind protection so the direct opposite (the venture im sure isnt a slug either) im sure you wont mind the hour and a half ride haha on something as comfy as the venture. Maybe next sunday? I wish but due to the GOV shut down we are slow as heck at work, means I'll be on call or working and we are about 250 miles apart, So if we left at the same time, You'd only have to go 100 miles on the Warrior to meet me. Ahhahahahaha I knew it was A Warrior, you said so in your post, but you also said you were adding and deleting touring comforts. Never saw a Warrior with touring comforts added, kinda wanted to see that picture! Still be a good move especially for two up travel! Although I did about 65K miles two up on my Midnight, it's not near the two up bike the venture is. Got your PM Ill Ring ya if I get a chance to slide that way.
