EXECTIVE Posted October 11, 2013 #1 Posted October 11, 2013 My question how can the passenger music be louder then the drivers....I have a 2000 rsv and the master volume controls front and back...the rear volume controller only lessens the volume that is set from the front .....if the wife wants the music louder the me? can you put full volume to the back helmet ? with out blasting my ears out ?
bongobobny Posted October 11, 2013 #2 Posted October 11, 2013 (edited) Not without adding a power amplifier to the rear speakers... EDIT I meant the rear HEADPHONES. Edited October 11, 2013 by bongobobny
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted October 11, 2013 #3 Posted October 11, 2013 Yes, I think. There is a fade or front rear balance setting but with out a manual in hand I can not say how to get to it. Select button I am guessing.
EXECTIVE Posted October 11, 2013 Author #4 Posted October 11, 2013 I know there is a fade for the speakers but what about the helmet sets
Kirby Posted October 11, 2013 #5 Posted October 11, 2013 No fader with the headsets. The passenger only gets a 100% of what the front controller is set on. Example: front is set half way, rear gets 100% of the volume of front, half way. If you turn up the front to 30 on the front controller, the rear gets that much also. If you turn the front controller down to to 10, the rear gets 100% of that 10 or less if you desire. In other words, the rear can't overcome the front controller.
dacheedah Posted October 12, 2013 #6 Posted October 12, 2013 adjust the fade and is the volume control turned all the way up in back??
Kirby Posted October 12, 2013 #7 Posted October 12, 2013 There is no fader control when using headsets.

Kirby Posted October 12, 2013 #9 Posted October 12, 2013 Plug in your headset and see if you have fader control. Fader only controls the front and rear speakers, not the headsets, that is of course, unless there was a change made to the system since 09.
