starrider60 Posted October 4, 2013 #1 Posted October 4, 2013 bought a 2000 millenium today. Only 22,000 miles. Dealer will install a hannigan trike kit on it. Hope to have it ready to ride by christmas. Great to be back on a rsv. Crashed my bike in august. This was my first trip out of the house alone so naturally i went straight to the dealer & bought another one. Looking forward to getting back on the road.
EasyRider Posted October 4, 2013 #5 Posted October 4, 2013 Way to go get back on the horse!! Glad you can! BuddyRich had to help me after my crash! Drove me to the bay area watched me sign on the line then he loaded it up on his trailer back to my house where he unloaded it. Pain killers made it hard to see the line to sign much less the white line to drive it home. Thinkin about a trike, let us know how you like it down the road..

adventurer 08 Posted October 4, 2013 #8 Posted October 4, 2013 Just got back from a dinner ride. Putting some miles on my new Hannigan conversion. Most fun I've had in a long time! You'll love it!

ragtop69gs Posted October 9, 2013 #10 Posted October 9, 2013 You'll never regret trikeing it, after a little learning curve you'll have a blast on it.
Mike G in SC Posted October 9, 2013 #11 Posted October 9, 2013 We like your attitude here son. And your choice. What # is the Millennium? I helped a stranded #49 last week near Charleston, SC. Also, if you don't mind, what is the cost of the kit and labor, beyond the cost of the bike? Reverse? Mike G.
starrider60 Posted October 9, 2013 Author #12 Posted October 9, 2013 I FORGOT TO ASK SO I MADE A TRIP TO THE DEAER AND FOUND OUT IT IS #517. SO GLAD I FOUND IT.
starrider60 Posted October 9, 2013 Author #13 Posted October 9, 2013 OH YEAH, THE WHOLE THING SHOULD RUN A SHADE UNDER $22000 WITH THE REVERSE, RAKED FORKS, AUXILIARY GAS TANK & HITCH. IT'S AVAILABLE SO MAKE IT A FULLY RIGGED OUT BEAUTY
Carbon_One Posted October 9, 2013 #14 Posted October 9, 2013 OH YEAH, THE WHOLE THING SHOULD RUN A SHADE UNDER $22000 WITH THE REVERSE, RAKED FORKS, AUXILIARY GAS TANK & HITCH. IT'S AVAILABLE SO MAKE IT A FULLY RIGGED OUT BEAUTY You'll definitely enjoy having both the Aux tank and the reverse. While the bike can be moved easier on 3 wheels you still need to pay attention to where you park, but having the reverse will sure make life easier when needed. As for the auxiliary tank you'll love having the extra range. Again it's more a peace of mind when traveling. You choose when and where to fuel or take breaks not the bike controlling that with only the main tanks fuel. Larry
