Freebird Posted October 3, 2013 #1 Posted October 3, 2013 Just got an email that my Saddle Sore 1000 has been certified. Now I just have to get the paperwork in for the bunburner 1500. Dear Donald Nelson: You are receiving this e-mail because of your application for a ride certification. This note is to let you know that your ride has been approved and although your ride documents may take a few more weeks to arrive, your membership has also been approved and entered into the Iron Butt Association's member database. Welcome to the Iron Butt Association!
RedRider Posted October 3, 2013 #2 Posted October 3, 2013 Don, Congratulations. Welcome to the IBA. Now you might want to keep an eye open for a regional LD rally. They're a lot of fun. And no one will make fun of your Harley (might be the only one there). Well done and well earned. RR
Prairiehammer Posted October 4, 2013 #4 Posted October 4, 2013 Ya know, Don, if you had ridden the thousand miles in 24 hours (or less) on the RSV, you probably wouldn't have "Saddle Sores". Congratulations, "Iron Butter" Nelson. Or is it "Butter Butt" Nelson.
dogman Posted October 7, 2013 #5 Posted October 7, 2013 Congratulations and you got to do it on your new bike.
