I have made a habit of going thru a bike when I get it. Just like to know where the hidden rust is and I found it on backside of those pegs.... And a couple other places..I got to take a ride on it soon but am planning on full teardown this winter for cleaning... I must be getting old!!! Hey how much rust is on Brown sugar out sight and out mind? Harley has the best quality of chrome on any bike I've ever owned bar none.

None! I pulled her apart for the same thing!! Waxed the wiring harnesses The bottom of the seat inside of the fenders, headlight lens,.........and a few million other things. I don't keep them perfect while they are on the road but I know what is inside them.
