Does Anyone Have A Extra Set Of Boots They Would Like To Sell Or Donate? Saturday At The Meat And Eat I Met Jrcain32 And Noticed His Boots Were Very Cracked. Where Is The Best Place To Buy These If No One Has A Set?

Set on E-Bay now I think. Take them off and coat them with Liquid Tape use a little heat to bake it dry and good to go.

The ones on e-bay are for an 83 will they work on a 99? I know alot of parts are the same.

I don't think they will as the 2ndgens are a 32mm carb vs. a 34mm on the 1st.

I purchased mine a few months ago at South Seattle Sports Plaza. They had the best price at that time.

They were about $30 each if memory serves me correctly.

Do you know for sure Jrcain32 really needs them. I think the boots have a metal center coated with rubber. They usually just look bad. It turned out mine didn't actually need replacing.

Hey Mark, I checked mine when I got home and I could not tell if they were pulsing. I felt of them and they would not push in. They may be like MrStankie said, metal covered with rubber. Before I order new ones I'll take one off and see for sure.
