XV1100SE Posted September 28, 2013 #11 Posted September 28, 2013 This isn't setting a precedent now is it? Do we ALL have to get a Harley so we can follow Freebird and be on both sites? What if he starts a boating forum now? Geez.... this is going to be more expensive than $12 a year
Squidley Posted September 28, 2013 #13 Posted September 28, 2013 Woody, That is a beautiful trike! I really like the newer tour trunk on the back. Enjoy it to the fullest extent

Back then it was kinda like jumping off a cliff. Now its more like stepping of the curb!
Guest tx2sturgis Posted September 28, 2013 #15 Posted September 28, 2013 Thats some kinda gorgeous! I havent ridden the newest TriGlides, but a couple of years ago I took one on a demo ride at Sturgis and they are very comfy and fun to ride. Enjoy!
Huggy Posted September 28, 2013 #16 Posted September 28, 2013 Yeah my wife wants me to get a trike. She figures she won't fall off one of them!

I did notice how quickly they steer while at speed - gotta pay attention (like we all should be anyway) cause you can change lanes real fast.. I told Tippy that I wondered if independent suspention would have helped in that arena BUT there are folks who really like that go cart feel - me included.. CONGRATS!!! :cool10:
Yammer Dan Posted September 28, 2013 #20 Posted September 28, 2013 I've never rode one. Scared to. Good luck with it. Hope you get a lot of miles & smiles out of it. Can't wait to see it!!
dacheedah Posted September 28, 2013 #21 Posted September 28, 2013 Does the triglide have independant rear suspension??
Sylvester Posted September 28, 2013 #22 Posted September 28, 2013 ...Then I can buy a new Indian! Good for you. I want one too. I was at the Indian Dealership earlier this week getting Sylvester inspected for the state, and the first delivery of the 2014 Indians arrived. Talk about a bunch of excited people. One person wanted to buy one on the spot, but was not happy when told he would have to order one just like the people who would receive these new bikes.
cowpuc Posted September 29, 2013 #23 Posted September 29, 2013 Does the triglide have independant rear suspension?? No, they are solid...
Carbon_One Posted September 29, 2013 #24 Posted September 29, 2013 That sure looks good Woody. Welcome to the 3rd wheel world. Take it easy for a few miles and enjoy the ride. Larry
mini-muffin Posted September 29, 2013 #25 Posted September 29, 2013 Well congrat's on the trike. Now when you guys come to Asheville (next time we have one) will you need a new trailer to bring the trike so you can have it to stay in? Or does it fit in the one you already have? I do like the color. Margaret
