St. Jude Ride update for 9/28

Spoke to a rep from St. Jude about our visit this Sat. 9/28. They were sorry to say that we will not be able to tour the Ronald McDonald House as they don't have anyone available on weekends to do the tours anymore. So looks like once again we will be touring the hospital again, and maybe the Grizzly House which is on the campus. This will still be a great experience for those that haven't been to St. Jude before. I also spoke to them about our getting a brick or a plaque for our donation and they are sending me info on what is available, she did say the bricks are not available right now, so looks like it will be a plaque on one of the walls. I will keep everyone updated to what we will be doing.

Lewis we won't be coming this year as my vacations are still on hold till October

So sorry my friend, but I just now found out that we are having company this weekend from out of state. They will be here Friday and leaving Sunday afternoon.

I mentioned to Konnie that I was going to surprise you and just show up, and then she said, well, remember I told you last month that we are having company this coming weekend?

And that was the end of that discussion...

When I am finaly off on a Saturday (vaca this week) and could ride to St. Judes with you, I have to go to Ohio to pick up a brand-used bike!

 

Why don't y'all swing thru' Toledo on your way home and join up with me?
