ACE50 Posted September 23, 2013 #1 Posted September 23, 2013 +1 on the Stratoliner front wheel replacement! Changed out a worn Dunlop 402 (not bad but cupped a lot) and put an E3 on front (E3 on back 6 months ago was great!) and it whet to hell. Low and high speed handling was terrible. Yes, correct pressures everywhere. My best friend bought me a Strat front wheel and wow!, I got my bike back! Low and high speed handling much better! Anybody need a midnight front wheel with an E3 with less than 1K on it?

Anybody need a midnight front wheel with an E3 with less than 1K on it? do you have the leveling links too? I went with leveling links and 130/90 16 narrower front and the bike is a dream to ride slow speed and twisties - no more arm pump!
ACE50 Posted September 23, 2013 Author #5 Posted September 23, 2013 Yes to links. 18" wheel with narrow tire like that should always help! I hardly ever hit floorboards now with the links. Next mod is a VMAX drive!
Wade 2000 Posted September 23, 2013 #6 Posted September 23, 2013 Did it really happen?? I love the low speed handling and running it through the twistys, much more responsive with the 130 tire and the cosmetic change is awesome. It really makes it look like a much more modern bike. The only downside I can find is at 75-80mph it seems like I get pushed around more on the freeway but not enough to go back.
