I was thinking of buying a 1996 YAMAHA VMX12 (VMAX) anyone have information on it or is there a site out there on this bike

There are plenty of sites devoted to the Vmax. Depends on what you're looking for. Not much changed over the years after you get past 1992. A little here and there but nothing substantial that I can remember. Great bike and in a class all by itself. I had one for a long time, modded the heck out of it and will get another one here in the next year or so. Just a fun bike to ride although not exceptionally strong in the twisties or braking department in stock trim.

Go ahead and post the other V Max sites you know of. I know of a couple others myself, but the format of the forum makes them a PIA to use, and I seldom do. I'd like to know of a few others too.
