My wife a and I just returned from our first big ride on the RSTD. We went from Denver to Phoenix and back. Went down to visit my first Grandson. Two day ride both ways with 1720 miles covered. It was the most fun we have had in a long time. The bike performed almost flawlessly with the exception of some backfiring above 11,000 feet and it didn't like the heat in Phoenix with the oil I had in it from Denver. But it rode great and I found a sweet spot at around 75 mph with the cruise on. I am looking forward to going elsewhere next year.

Just read the first part of your post to my wife,,, jaw drop at 1750 miles in two days.

And pic of STOCK SEAT. Your wife is obviously not a spoiled lady.

You just took a giant step on the Road Warrior scale.

First off, it was 1710 miles total. We went about 400 miles a day. 2 days down to Phoenix and 2 days back to Denver. 3 days in Phoenix. Just a little riding there. The front seat is the stock seat with the Butler mod. The pillion is a Mustang seat with the Butler mod.
