headed to NE TN area Friday the 20th

for 4 days of riding... will be the 1st trip to finally use my trailer...Looking forward to the adventure and hopefully some great riding... I doubt we ride the dragon, too many crazy ppl. We are going to try and find the roads less traveled with the exception of BRPW...hope to have plenty of pictures....

Yea I've bought some ride maps that has some great rides along with gas and eating places. Also GOOGLE maps is a wonderful thing....it's our 1st trip to that area on the bike, we are PUMPED...:cool10:

Got bad news for you though,,, there is really no connection between the CRAZY people and the Dragon,,, as long as you call around to "some" of our members who live down yonder and make sure they are staying off the Dragon it may very well be one of the safest places down there:cool10::rotf::whistling:

Craziness = crotch rockets and ppl on other bikes trying to ride in ways which is hazardous to them and others around them

The Dragon is not that Bad, if you are going for four days, ride it on a week day. Mondays are great, after 10 AM the photographers will be there. (You know you can upload pics of you they take, Killboy, US129 Photos.com, and so on. So keep a count on what time you run it.

 

Get a ride map at the Deals Gap resort. it's priceless.

 

I would do Wahala Road for sure (129 South of dragon, where it T's off go left the road is on the right. Goes to Loafers Glory, NC. Then find , 28 N from there for sure.

The Skyways and 129 S to the Highlands, being sure to stop at Bridal and dry Falls.

I always like to take the foothills Parkway at the Top of the Dragon over to Gatlinburg, the River Road is best scenery around.

 

You can do all that with a trailer, just stay close to the right line.

I'm just using the trailer to carry our xtras, will unhook and lock it up at our hotel... may hit some of the roads you are talking bout on the way up to Gatlinburg area...

I am leaving friday with 4other guys for the same area we will be riding the whole area and are headed to the diamondback grandfather mountain and the sake plus the cherahola watch for me
