Stock cb antenna for 2nd gen needed

Went for a spin yesterday and came home without the top half of my cb antenna?

It split in the middle of the black loaded part.

 

So ?? Who has one that they want to part with?

I only use the thing about two times a year and need it for next months ride.

Several years ago, I closed the garage door on my cb antennae. It broke in the same place as yours did.

I repaired mine with the barrel of a common black permanent marker. I removed the marker's guts and heated the barrel with my heat gun. I slid it over the broken part of the cb antennae. It cooled and contracted for a tight sealed fit. My radio has worked perfectly ever since.

How in the world would you ship something that long?

I have shipped a few to other members .... 1 too many i guess ... and i used pvc water pipe and tape label 2 times and cardboard cylinder another time.
