Dale124 Posted September 16, 2013 #1 Posted September 16, 2013 Hi, all. This past weekend a friend of mine and myself went on a local radio station's charity ride. The ride went from Edmonton to a nearby lake and back (approximately 250K round trip). This was my first organized ride, and we had a great time. There were, I believe, over 250 bikes there, and they went out in groups of 10-12 in 5 minute intervals. I must say, we were severely outnumbered, as the Harley's likely had 90% of the numbers. The charity raised over $14,000, if I remember correctly. If I can, I will include a picture or 2 of the event, and one of my friend and me beside our respective bikes (he has the Kawasaki Concourse, and mine is the RSV) I'm the one with the hat on. Dale124 Posted September 17, 2013 Author #3 Posted September 17, 2013 Good job with the fund raising Dale. And it looks like the weatherman cooperated. Doug Ya, Doug, the weather was fantastic. We have been having awesome weather the last 6 weeks or so ( almost BC like 😄) . I just hope it lasts a long time, as I am going to hate parking the bike for our long winter season. Dale.
