Nanci at Ace High Leather took the task this spring of redoing the seats on my 1998 Tour Classic. Here are some pictures of it finalised with a Venture trunk installed.

Man that lady made me happy to say the least :). Turned out better than I ever expected. Notice how she embedded the Yamaha logo on the backrest :) And she has started doing some braiding work for the levers.

All I can say is that she does a great job and is a real fun person to work with. :bighug:

Am going to install hard bags for the coming summer and ask Nanci to make me saddle bag lid covers in the cream color.:cool10:

Enjoy the pictures

Nice scoot, Nanci does great work.

Hi Charles.

Yes she sure does and is such a fun person to work with.

The scoot is a fun riding bike with a lot of power. Has an upgraded motor with V-Max cams and springs (hence the bikes name, Maximus), 32mm Venture carbs, Dyna Ignition Module, R1 Brake Calipers and the list goes on. Added a Venture Trunk and still have the hard saddlebags to add as well as some cosmetic things. One can keep on forever but I am not far from getting the bike the way where I want it.

Looks great!! Wonder if the Red Baron is seasick:think:

Craig

No seasickness so far - But on the other hand a certain mr. P. Vivero might need some medical attention in the near future if the Red Baron will not be sailing the seven seas before Friday !

I´ll keep you posted.

Jonas, I can only say that you are a piece of cake to work with. :) The seats look WAY better on the bike than stacked up on my work bench!

This man had his mind set and was patient to say the least. He pretty much told me that he knew that I could braid some lever fringe for him and he put up with my balking. :no-no-no:(The only thing I had ever braided was my own hair back "in the day".):confused07: Sooooo,he bought me a book and said "there this should help you learn, I can tell by your work that you can do this". :080402gudl_prv: He was relentless. Needless to say I figured it out :stirthepot:and of course there you have it a new product! More on that later. :whistling:

Thank you Jonas for your patience and the rest of you guys of this for spreading the word around of my work. You guys are awesome! :bighug:
