I am going to get Eileen a boat. Looking for something with a cabin, head, etc. 24' to 27' long. Actually, she found one yesterday that she likes but I need to sell something first. :)

OH..and my Harley site was touringhogs.com I didn't think I was going to try to start it up again but I am working on it. :)

There are SOOOO many Harley sites though...I'm not sure it will ever take off once I get it ready.

Just don't try to turn this well established site into a Hardley site. A revolution may be ignighted.

Bubba told me he would trade her his boat and not only will he throw in the oars, but he will inflate it for her! He said it has a head too; you just hang it over the side. He said he'll throw in a tent also, that way you can sleep in it like he does. You just have be careful with the tent stakes! :no-no-no: (He learned that the hard way!)

Man this just aint right,,, Don, you are suppose to at least keep the Venture until all the folks who havent had the pleasure of meeting you yet (like Tip and I) get to meet you on your Venture!!!!:whistling:

Man THAT is a gorgeous bike!!! Indeed, someone is getting steal!!! Hey,, how did the V-max rearend work out for you? Compare stock gearing to this gearing at say 70 MPH, what kinda "R's" are you running and fuel economy..

Good luck with the new Harley (they are awesome!!), the trade for that row raft from Bubba (I met him at Vogel this year, I would double check that raft for leaks before trading,, just sayn) and/or the selling of your Yam!!!!

Man that is a gorgeous machine.....

Well first of all, rest assured that I am IGNORING Bubba. I've met him and just wouldn't feel right taking his home.

As for the VMax rear, it will cause you to run about 500 RPM higher in 5th gear. That is still about 500 RPM lower than a first gen. Performance is greatly increased. Gas mileage is at least as good and better under some conditions.

That being said, I also have a stock rear end that will go with the bike. I also have the original TCI unit that would be a good spare if the Dyna were to ever go out. Haven't heard of that happening though. Of course I have the stock shock links also in case somebody doesn't like the leveling links on it.

Yea I wasn't here but a day or two and he already had HD on his mind and announced it might be time for a new bike, Next thing I know he's holding the throttle of a Road Glide on his way to International for Ventures? Like Huh? I'm going to keep bugging him.

And I just sold my boat! So I have a LOT of boating stuff if your interested Freebird! Good quality high dollar clean boat stuff, Jackets, tubes, tow lines dock lines, bumpers, Gazillion new fishing lures, and gear and on and on.
