Rick Haywood Posted September 4, 2013 #1 Posted September 4, 2013 Well the date is set, I will have shoulder surgery on October 3rd. They say I will be off the bike for up to 6 months (that sucks) Will be taking one last long ride before they do it though. Will be leaving on Sept, 20 and head to Chattanooga to ride the trail of tears run the to tupelo and ride the trace up to Nashville then over to deals gap and the Cheraholla Skyway and then the Blue Ridge Parkway and then head towards Columbus Ohio should return home on the 27th or so. There will be 5 or 6 of us riding together. Looking forward to it Rick

And do what the Doc and Physical Thearopy say to do. You will be ready to ride before you know it. Safe and fun trip! Bryan

adventurer 08 Posted September 5, 2013 #18 Posted September 5, 2013 I'm having rotator surgery on Nov. 5 but for now I can not ride for more then a half hour with out being in pain. Have fun on your trip and good luck on your surgery.
