Dimm Head Light

My low beam is now very dim. To the point I can not use it when I ride. Does anyone know what is wrong and some fixes. High beam is fine.

Halogen lights degrade over time and should be replaced.

You need to remove the CMS, the readout in the middle of the dash, and take it apart and resolder the connections. There is a how to in the 1st gen tech section.

Was your low beam just barely on but high beam was fine. It was working fine then all of the sudden dim. Changed the bulb still did the same thing.

Yep, this is typical of a cold solder joint in the CMU.

Not much yet, but it will be.

 

2003 RSV starting point, VMax configured 1300 motor, wheels & final drive. 1st gen front end.
