hunter 1500 Posted September 4, 2013 #26 Posted September 4, 2013 Your handling will suck. But you will look cool way behind everyone else.

bretorihomes Posted November 11, 2013 #28 Posted November 11, 2013 uglydave if you took the 16 inch apes off I suspect you had to change the cables throttle cables etc etc. If you still have everything I will buy it!! My personal email is bretorihomes@yahoo.com. Also, each to their own gentlemen, Try them befpore you have an opinion. Ive had 16"s on a VTX a Vulcan 2000, fatboy and a sportster. if there shoulder height they are extremely comfortable. Thanks Brendan Skaggs
rickardracing Posted November 11, 2013 #29 Posted November 11, 2013 Why negative comments? What one person thinks looks stupid, another may think is art. We are all different, with different likes. I could say a whole lot about some of the bikes and trailers I have seen on this forum. But again, different strokes. I you want ape hangers, put them on. Don't worry about what others may think.
Santa Hal Posted November 12, 2013 #30 Posted November 12, 2013 Indiana's current law states that handlebars may not rise above the shoulders of the rider. Of course, do it if it pleases you, but be aware that you may be courting official attention. shoulders of the rider
BradT Posted November 12, 2013 #31 Posted November 12, 2013 In Ontario the Highway traffic act states that the handle bars must not exceed 15" above the highest point of the seat when compressed by the riders weight. And I thought Ontario was Metric ? Brad
