Texas Gunboat Memorial Ride

Alan and I rode with Squidley, Sweetnothing, and a wonderful bunch of Texas Venture Riders to honor Don Cumpston " Gunboat" today.

I think he would have enjoyed the company, conversation, and the ride.

I was saddened that I could not make this special ride. My scoot was/is in serious need of a new rear tire and I took it off the road for the entire month of August. As it is I think it will be somewhat safe to ride to Kbran's this coming weekend in order to replace both tires.

I'd like to think that Gunboat would not fault me for missing the Tribute Ride....nor anyone else from East Texas as well.

Boomer....who sez a Gunboat Tribute Ride in Loozeeanner will be scheduled for October/November...
