UT Gunboat Ride - Memory Lane

Jan and I had the pleasure of getting to know Don earlier this year and couldn't miss out on spending time remembering this special person.

 

We took the opportunity to wander down memory lane a little bit too.

 

34 years ago we were working at the Mill Hollow Education Center (a mountain based science camp for elementary kids) in the Uintah Mountains and were two weeks away from getting married. A lot has changed and sadly, the pine beatles have devastated the trees in the area.

 

We took the car today because of rain, dirt road to the Center and the car needed to get out of stop and go traffic.

 

What a nice day!! Thanks Don for the inspiration and the great memories.
