Bantam Posted August 28, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Hi all, I am new to the forum and need some guidance. I just purchased a '92 Venture Royale and I need to replace rear rotor and pads. Can I upgrade just the rear to a new rotor and the EBC HH pads or should all pads front and rear be moved to EBC HH simultaneously? Thanks, Bantam Edited August 28, 2013 by Bantam wrong year on bike
Condor Posted August 28, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 28, 2013 Hi all, I am new to the forum and need some guidance. I just purchased a '92 Venture Royale and I need to replace rear rotor and pads. Can I upgrade just the rear to a new rotor and the EBC HH pads or should all pads front and rear be moved to EBC HH simultaneously? Thanks, Bantam To keep the 70/30% mix the same I'd replace with an OEM style organic pad. You do know that the left front and the rear are linked?? When using the right brake lever you are only actuating the right brake caliper...
Bantam Posted August 28, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted August 28, 2013 Yes, I understand the linked system. So new pads all around is your advice.
Bantam Posted August 28, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted August 28, 2013 I misunderstood. I will just replace with oem style for now and then put better pads on down the road when I do the ss brake lines. Thanks for the advise.
Condor Posted August 28, 2013 Share #5 Posted August 28, 2013 I misunderstood. I will just replace with oem style for now and then put better pads on down the road when I do the ss brake lines. Thanks for the advise. You can go ahead and replace all the pads with HH. ...or Sinistered.... your choice. If you're going to go the HH route you might as well do them all.
