Well, I'm not sure if I owe $5, but over the weekend I stopped and got gas. Inadvertently hit the stop / kill button. Went to start, nothing. Thinking it was kickstand switch, farted around wiggling wires. Finally, went inside for a soda break, went back to bike, sat down, looked at button and light bulb clicked:lightbulb:.

Fired right up, and left. I must have spent 20 minutes looking and puzzled, almost was going to call buddy with trailer.

On a trip to Arkansas, I didn't notice my kill switch till I'd bummed an unnecessary jump-start. I just held the cables and hoped the good Samaritan didn't notice how big a fool I really was. Gee Whiz, the bike started right up and I thank my rescuer and was on my way.

It seems like the Kill Button is the springboard for embarrassing events. Lol....I hit the kill switch and in my efforts to figure out what happened my key was used to pop open my seat and then I sat there trying to figure where my key went.

The thing that keeps me from being embarassed is that I turn my bike off like this every time I stop, so I always have to turn it back on to start it up. Now leaving the key in the trunk lock and frantically searching my pockets for it, pretty common.
