jneed53 Posted February 22, 2008 #1 Posted February 22, 2008 We decided, rather impulsively, to make a weekend run from Dallas to Fredericksburg, Tx. tomorrow. Was wondering if any members might have suggestions for rides, good restaurants, and/or bars. I have never been there, but a co-worker has given me a few ideas. Since we are leaving Sat. morning and won't take a computer, any thoughts on Friday night would be appreciated. Also, if anyone is in that area, maybe we could get together. We are staying overnight at the Hog Stop Inn (one of those suggestions).

Guest JGorom Posted February 23, 2008 #5 Posted February 23, 2008 Wife and I visited her brother a few years back and had a great meal in a Fredericksburg resturaunt. It was a German resturaunt (unfortunately I cannot remember the name) that sat on a corner lot on the main street, it had an outside porch that was like a european villa. The reason it stands out is it was definitely one of the 10 best meals I ever had. I'm sure you'll find something there...have a great time!
