While Brian (friesman) was heading our way, we were going the opposite. Spent the first week going to Plenty, SK to meet up with Nina's relatives for a "celebration of life" for Nina's mom who passed a year ago March.

Then it was off to Prince George, BC to visit with Nina's brother and his wife for a few days before our final destination of camping at Loon Bay Resort. The plan was to camp for 5 days and then return home .... NOPE! ... Major windstorm and crappy weather put a damper on that ... we packed up and left on the second morning. What a disappointment!

A few pics for y'all...

Packed up and on the road.

Major bummer about the wind ending things early but looks like you had some good weather at least (based on a few of those pictures).

:thumbsup2:

So how did the new Vic do for that long haul?

So how did the new Vic do for that long haul?

We towed the trailer to the campsite and stored it there until we got back from Sask.

Vic handled the long haul to Sask and back effortlessly but for some reason, it just wouldn't avoid the bugs and road grime!

I washed it when we got back to Prince George and then it took me several hours once at home to finish what I didn't get cleaned in P.G., finally doing a complete polish and wax job.

A problem did occur tho as once we got home I noticed some oil weepage from the valve covers, primary case cover, and head gasket of the rear cylinder. Vic dealer will be fixing it under warranty.

As for pulling the trailer, it was easier to handle than the RSV and a bit more power. No comparison to the Wing tho.
