Speedometer Quit

Suddenly without warning it died. Recently disconnected cable at wheel and greased inner cable, which looked good. Is there a good chance that the cable separated at upper attachment? What is best way to access this?

Yep, had that happen before.

If I remember correctly you can barely get your hand up in there and screw it back on.

Have to take the head light out of course.

The cable actually comes out from the bottom end so you could take it loose there to see

if it has broken.

Did it scream or screech before it died? You may have lost the inner cable if the bottom end came loose. I have a spare if you needs it.

Thanks guys. Problem solved. I went for a quick look and figured out how to access and reconnect the cable behind the headlight. Glad I don't have bigger hands.
