Not a good year. Her family has problems just talking to each other. It becomes my concern because we live together. That had also ate up two weeks vacation for me this year. The job is an issue also right now. 40 hour pay for a 50 hour week. I am in Ohio, the problems are in West Virginia. With all the construction on 77 we must have been wearing out the highway. Thats the states problem.

Seriously. I need to go riding. I am 57 and have two stints. I do not need these issues. I need to go riding.

Can some Ohio folks give me some rides in the south east section of Ohio? Something south of Youngstown would be nice. I live in Ashtabula and have worn out the roads here.

I may go this weekend.

I dont even know why I am posting this. Last resort? I consider you all friends. Best site I been on ever.

Have a nice day.

If not @#%$ it!

Oh what I meant to say was.... wish them all a nice day when your looking over your shoulder pulling out of their driveway knowing that your going for a couple of days of riding and you won't have put up with their crap for those two days. :rotf::rotf::rotf:

Dang I did it again. :missingtooth:

So we are all different eh. Ya, ain't that the truth, so are you and so am I. Trouble is, often times we want everybody to be just like me, handle their problems my way, spend their money how I would suggest, drive the way I drive, think the way I think. I know now, it just ain't that way, we are all different and so do things differently, sometimes not even right, but then we all make mistakes, say the wrong things,,,,,,,,,

I'm learning to live with all those issues, not always easy, but I don't have any stints yet either. Got to remember that we are all made in the image of the Creator, and somehow each of us reflects that image, some better than others for sure, but reflect we do. Guess what matters most is how I reflect that image, and let Him handle the rest.

That's it!

My thoughts as they came to mind.

Ride careful, and enjoy His creation.

Links provided below. I KNOW Ohio I have rode it ALL in four seasons.

Find your way to 11 South the back way, Then go down Route 7 all the way to Marietta, Ohio, Stay the night there and get up in the am and go west and find the start of Ohio 555 (Ohios Tail of the Dragon AKA The Triple Nickle) Run that out and Cut east over to Stockport, see the Inn and the Damm and peek in the Inn at the electric company, Sign the wall, go back out from there and find your way over to Big Musky Bucket, The largest machine to ever move on earth, Look it up! You will just be seeing the Bucket of it, the rest is history! Come out of there and go north to Sugarcreek. Big Attraction, very busy on weekends, but an old Amish/ swedish/german community some of the best food in Ohio right there. And if you are into wine, or she is, stop and get a bottle of Roadhouse Red, there is no finer wine for the money. I get a case when I am down there. The ladies love it! Anyways by now you seen all of the best roads ohio has. Get on 77 go North to 62 East take that to 225 North and it T's into Ohio Sr 5 go East Past the Ravenna Arsenal, (more history) Watch for deer at night. Stay on 5 East and get off on Elm road also 5 E and when you get to 305 go East to SR 11 North and back home.

You will need the free Map at the visitors center, don't sweat the roads if you go the way I said there are no bad ones. When you get around 555 there will be plenty of bikers as it is a big bike route for the smooth curves. Muskie Bucket is also a Big attraction.

"While working, Big Muskie used the equivalent of the power for 27,500 homes, costing tens of thousands of dollars an hour just in power costs and necessitating special agreements with local Ohio power companies to accommodate the extra load."

Amazing.

I have passed that Big Muskie sign a 100 times. I need to make a trip and see it.

Yea I'm a truck driver, and I passed it a million times too, There is a state lake near there that is a big attraction to Muskie fishermen about that same area, So I thought it was something pertaining to that. LOL

Since I have been back by there Exit 25 off I77 Go west, I think its SR78 anyways, TENS of times, When I go to the Dragon, I go that way, pass Muskie Bucket, stop, ride down to whatever town, cross the river take 555 back to Marietta where there is the most fantastic Chinese Buffet in all the world on the North side of the road going into town.

Even some experienced riders are ify about 555, I talked to one the other day who was, and this guy is major Sport bike rider works at the Yami shop, he said he don't like it because its missing the signage that would tell you what curve is next. Heck, I just look up at the trees to tell what way the road is going to turn next.

Anyways, Yea, if around there don't pass that one up.

If you plan on going, hit me up for a guided tour, if work has me pissed at the time I might just call off!
