MasterGuns Posted August 14, 2013 #2 Posted August 14, 2013 Where is the rear brake reservoir located? Right side (as you are sitting on it). Remove the r/h side cover. The rear brake master cylinder is just above the on-off-reserve gas cock. Square looking thing.
Flyinfool Posted August 14, 2013 #3 Posted August 14, 2013 Just above the pivot for the rear brake lever.
Venturous Randy Posted August 15, 2013 #5 Posted August 15, 2013 If you are going to bleed your bakes, remember that the rear and the left front caliper are linked. Also, do not fill your reservoir to the top as it will cause the brakes to lock up as the brake fluid gets hot and expands. It is a good thing to have an 8mm wrench with you when you take a ride after bleeding your brakes. RandyA
