You need to post a new thread to get attention to your question. This thread was a niche comment that only a few will probably open. Put a descriptive title on it. Help with 1st gen clutch for example.

Go to forums on main page upper left blue bar, then go to forum that is similar to question or watering hole for general stuff. At top left area, there is start a new thread button.

To answer your question, it could be one of many things.

1. Bleed clutch at slave, lower left behind stator cover there should be a 2" square black rubber cover over bleed port. Bleed a bunch of DOT 3 or 4 fluid through it, like 2 or 3 reservoirs worth. The clutch fluid is often neglected.

2. Possible could be bad seals in master or slave

3. There is a very tiny hole in bottom of master, nest to a larger hole. Tiny hole sometimes plugs up. Hole is about needle size.

I was in that bunch chasing the UPS truck and it was obvious he knew the road a lot better than I did. :backinmyday:

Thanks Randy once again for trying to bail me out of this long going incident.. for I was the lead in that group and I'm telling you that, that UPS driver knew the road better than anyone .. He flew around those curves...

I'm not bragging at all here but many know I can ride a bike fairly well.. however, this one UPS truck driver showed not just me, but several in our group, that HE is the one in charge and HE was the one in control of his ride and that HE knew how to take those particular curves. He rode those curves every day, and here we were, all out of towners, thinking we could out run the this man (UPS driver) on a road he rode every day and knew end to end..

What were WE thinking............

However, if memory serves me right a year later....Bobbie / George took a picture of me while I was sitting in my saddle, hanging on to the passer side mirror of the UPS truck, while I was on my bike, and this photo was posted at one time on the site here... so no one can tell me that I didn't catch the UPS truck (thank you very much). I once had photographic evidence that I did. :rasberry:

Well I remember that incident as well. It did come in handy having the UPS truck in front of us, traffic moved over for him and we just followed.

Oh and this pic of you holding a UPS truck side mirror, were you parked?:whistling:

I'm just saying that we didn't know these roads all that well and ALL UPS drivers would obviously know the routes they follow every day, doncha think??? And well, B2dad didn't have any trouble on the trike catching him...so we were just wondering, you know, what the story was..that original story of poor Eck not being able to catch a guy driving a TRUCK for cryin out loud..I mean..really????

(just saying...)
