Condor Posted August 12, 2013 #1 Posted August 12, 2013 So I went to an auction last week.... And this is what I came home with.. I remember back when I was 13 or 14 years old, a buddy of mine had a Whizzer Motorbike with that big belt drive on the rear wheel. I was jealouse as all get out. And now the itch has been scratched... It's not a whizzer but I think a little better. The base bike is a Diamond Back Avenir, and the motor is a brand X... but I'll ID it eventually. Runs like a champ. A few little things I'll need to tweek, but hey....it's used. Thinking about getting a couple of Harley decals for the tank...
tomephil Posted August 12, 2013 #2 Posted August 12, 2013 That looks like too much fun... No wait, there's no such thing as too much fun. Have a blast riding it! Do they make a trailer hitch for that model?
Black Owl Posted August 12, 2013 #3 Posted August 12, 2013 Dang it Tom. You beat me too it. I was going to ask if it could pull a trailer.
Guest bodasefus Posted August 12, 2013 #7 Posted August 12, 2013 I built one of those... I used a walmart beach cruiser frame with a 2-cycle motor... all Chinese and I rode it for a while... the only mfg that makes a decent 2 cycle on of these motors is Grubey... If you don't have anything else to ride,,, be ok... I used to have a 1947 wizzer when I was a kid... whizzers are fun,,, 4 cycle and fairly reliable... these little chinese motors have bearing problems and cdi problems... I would never leave the yard without a spare cdi...
ReinyRooster Posted August 12, 2013 #8 Posted August 12, 2013 Where's the tapedeck? Or would that be an 8-track?
