Venturous Randy Posted August 12, 2013 #1 Posted August 12, 2013 One of the things I dealt with on my trips to Vogal was the heat. Hot, humid heat. But I will say that the evening temps were not uncomfortable for sleeping in my little camper with the way the park is shaded in early evening. For anyone going this time, it looks like the temps for the weekend are going to range from 60 to 70 degrees and not a high chance of rain. So, instead of taking your swim suit for swimming in the lake, you might want to take your long johns. Lew, we haven't given up on trying to make it down for a visit. We are just playing it day by day. RandyA

etcswjoe Posted August 12, 2013 #3 Posted August 12, 2013 I made the mistake of not taking a jacket and long sleeves to maintenance day not again. Looks like we will get wet coming up just hope it's not too bad.
Skid Posted August 12, 2013 #4 Posted August 12, 2013 Good advice Randy. I'm taking an extra pair of jeans and a couple hoodies. The temps between 60 - 75 are great as long as the rain holds off.
