whats this plug for?

so im changing my ignition coils and i found this plug right beside them and dont know what it goes to any ideas?

Thats a trigger for terrorist Motorcycle bomber. You plug the detonator into that and when you hit the throttle and both brakes at the same time it sends a signal to the detonator.

 

Well I wondered same thing few days ago, I thought maybe a diagnostic plug Yamaha shop uses.

I'm almost certain that it's for an emissions add on for the California model bikes. I asked the same questions several years ago and if memory serves me right, that was the answer I got....

The green one is used on California sold bikes only.

sorry...I have a non-cali bike and I have that plug too...But it's buried. And ignored

News Flash -- All bikes have the green plug, only used on California bikes. It does have power to it when key is on.

His would be red, don't you know!!! After all he's not from Indiana, unless of course they moved Indiana to Ohio, and then it would be orange.
