The Moon started into hiding about 15 minutes ago and it's pretty cool! The lower left quarter is now missing. We have broken clouds here so it kind of comes and goes, disappearing a little more each time; it lends a bit of Lon Chaney feel to it!

It's only supposed to last about 50 minutes and be a dark orange at it's peak.

Daughter and I are watching it right now. What a good time....she asked what caused this...she's 11...so I found two balls and a flashlight and showed her how it works.

Drats! I can't see it either... too many clouds after being clear all day. But if you go to "Astronomy Picture of the Day" in a day or so, it will probably be pictured there.

I got to see parts the eclipse in between working. Here are some of my pics. Cropped them so you can see the colors better on the moon. Wished they were better. But then I was at work with spot lights and overhead lights around at the station.

Nice shot Al!

It didn't seem that orange here, I guess due to the thin clouds that were scuttling across the sky.
