Ventureless Posted August 9, 2013 #1 Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) I am sitting here at work and have found a place that might have bearings in stock that I can pick up today rather than ordering. I am getting my new tire tonight and wanted to get it mounted tomorrow morning but decided to do the bearings as well. Only problem is I didn’t order bearings in time and don’t have them. I would love to just pull the wheel once. So my question is can anybody tell me the dimensions of the front wheel bearings for a 2nd gen? Looking it up, I see the part number as B6004. The problem is that I can’t find anything to cross reference it with so I am not sure what to ask for when I call. I can however pick the size I want and see if it is in stock. They have Timken, SKF, NTN, Dayton, and FAG bearings so if anybody knows the exact number of any of those, that would be good as well. Here are 2 I found that I think are it and in stock. Not sure though. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/compareItemsRender.shtml Thanks Edited August 9, 2013 by Ventureless
RedRider Posted August 9, 2013 #2 Posted August 9, 2013 I don't think I saved the old bearings when I changed mine out last year. I recall they were FAG, although, I wouldn't bet the rent on my memory. They are a sealed, pre-lubed bearing. Your dealer should be able to get them next day. $20 ea. on BikeBandit. RR
