PhilH Posted August 9, 2013 #1 Posted August 9, 2013 Meet the star, 1996 XVZ1300 Royal Star "Minmay" Bought May 2012 at 26k+ at the ODO, 29k+ as of today. I can't believe I put 3k on it in 1.5 years I think it's stock but it doesn't feel underpowered as reviewed many times on the web Maybe it's because I know how to ride a Royal Star http://p1.bikepics.com/2012/05/29/bikepics-2408277-800.jpg http://p1.bikepics.com/2012/05/29/bikepics-2408278-800.jpg http://p1.bikepics.com/2012/05/29/bikepics-2408280-800.jpg http://p1.bikepics.com/2012/05/29/bikepics-2408281-800.jpg First bubble bath: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/149/0/5/minmay___bubble_bath_by_roguebaron-d51hs6n.jpg In the garage with my Bashan (Peace Sport) VIP150 and my son's "FJR1300": http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2013/159/8/9/my_2_wheel_fleet_by_roguebaron-d68b5az.jpg And here is a little walkaround video I did: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZczCsdu1ddA]1996 Yamaha Royal Star Walkaround - YouTube[/ame]

PhilH Posted August 11, 2013 Author #7 Posted August 11, 2013 3K miles in 1.5 years? That's more like a month or less for many on here. Nice pics, thanks for sharing. RandyA Well, 3K a month means 750 miles a weekend. Can't do that yet. But maybe someday when my kids are off to college
Barrycuda Posted August 11, 2013 #8 Posted August 11, 2013 I feel ya PhilH on not logging miles like many others. I have 2 small children and this year was the most I have ridden, 7k and counting, but that really is because of the venture. I already broke my goal of 5k per year. Just ride your awesome bike as much as you can. Before you know it the miles will start adding up!! Ride safe.

I made this with a GoPro 2 with external mic that I put on top of the tail light, so it picked up the exhaust sound instead of the wind: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BF2z8M3VATE]Fort Harrods Ride 6-1-2013 - YouTube[/ame] The guy in front of me is the guy with the Honda Fury.
