Thursday is the annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day! As you probably know, all proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network to assist in paying the health care for ill children. The DQ here in Madison has sold the most Blizzards in the whole DQ network for a few years in a row now. This year, they have a goal of 32,000! They sold over 31,000 last year.

Here is a link to a news story that ran on our local CBS affiliate KELO TV.

Let's all go to DQ tomorrow and help support a great cause.

Stay safe,

The DQ here in Madison, SD sold 38,412 Blizzards for Miracle Treat Day! With the total surpassing the goal set by the store owner of 32,000 the Governor of South Dakota and Delon Mork, the owner, will make a tandem sky dive to celebrate! it amazes me that Madison and Lake county (total population of 11,200 people) can sell this many. What a great cause as well. Delon and his crews have raised over $250,000 for Childrens' Miracle Network over the last 8 years. Doreen and I did our share by purchasing 8 blizzards.
