Triker Dan Posted August 5, 2013 #1 Posted August 5, 2013 Have a 2005 Royal Venture just converted to trike. Stock lights were dim and almost invisable when braking or turning. Replaced with Radiantz LED's. No change in brightness of turn or brakes but flash a lot faster. Any suggestions?
saddlebum Posted August 5, 2013 #2 Posted August 5, 2013 When using a turn signall do other lights also tend to flicker. If so check all your grounds for bad connection
IronMike Posted August 5, 2013 #3 Posted August 5, 2013 Yep, Dim would be a bad ground. Start at the rear and work your way up looking for the Green Dust, oh my! Clean and reconnect everything.
cabreco Posted August 5, 2013 #4 Posted August 5, 2013 Agreed! on my BMW M3 one side would blink fast & dim, it turned out to be a rusted out ground connection on the front signal. Check the sockets 1st & work your way in. Try running a ground wire to a good source & test each directional by temporarily replacing the ground. My bet would be the rear connections on the trike!
spear Posted August 5, 2013 #5 Posted August 5, 2013 LEDS blink a lot faster because they pull less load.
