tufftom4 Posted August 3, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 3, 2013 I have a 91 Kawi Voyager and I got a rear rim off of e-bay to powder coat like the front rim but they need the bearings taken out and with the spacer I see no way to take them out how is this done.... Marcarl Posted August 4, 2013 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2013 Don't know for the Kawi, but on the Venture you put a punch or diver tool into the one end, push the spacer over to drive out the bearing. We usually have to drive it out using the inner race, so the bearing will be screwed royally. One end has a collar on the spacer to keep it in place, so if it doesn't work one way way, try it the other way. It may also take a little persuasion to get it to move over to accept the driver tool. frankd Posted August 4, 2013 Share #3 Posted August 4, 2013 I use a blind bearing puller from Harbor Freight. http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=blind+bearing
