Below are some still shots from a video that Ragtop69gs took using a gopro camera mounted to his RSV.

Eusa1 is leading group, followed by his wife Lucy II.

This is about a minute and half into ride after pulling out of parking lot Tuesday morning.

I will get video posted, I need to get some software to clip it to just this segment.

This shows us there is very little reaction time whenever a deer appears in front of us while riding. Have fun and be careful out there.

I was a couple bikes behind Ragtop on the left.

I saw that deer on the left when it tried to run across the first time and then got scared and then ran back ino the ditch on the left. I was watching out hoping it wouldn't come out of the ditch... and then it just bolted out across the road. Reaction time was nearly zero...

I hate deer!!!!!

Soup's on!

I have had that happen in the dark one morning with 3 of them while I was going to work when we lived in Michigan. Like mentioned, happens so fast you can't hardly react. Definitely a butt pucker moment, glad it was a good miss for y'all

I would be honored to ride b***h behind you anytime, and I would like it.:big-grin-emoticon:

That would be fabulous IH but you will have to talk to the bike hopper....she may not want to give up her seat. :rotf:

She gave me the OK,but said something about having to wear a pink shirt.

Permit me to ask - what would happen to the couple on bike #3 if they got hit by the deer and came unstuck. Are they dressed for the slide, or merely dressed for the ride?

A good set of leathers will beat a cotton shirt anytime when it meets the blacktop.

Just my 2c worth.

Yep,until I washed and dried one of her cashmere sweaters and shrunk it so bad,it looked like it would fit a barbie doll.:yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

I was then relieved of all laundry duties...:whistling:

WOW.....I watched it in the ravine just before it crossed the road. What you CANT'T HEAR in the pic is me riding my AIR HORN.....

From my view point just left of Lucy...It was REAL CLOSE!

What kind of camera was that, Go pro or something else??

Ragtop said it was a gopro.

I have a video oriented coworker that I will try to entice to edit video down to a manageable size Monday. Fairly sure I can get this done as we work together ao a lot of projects. It is 1.3 gigabyte as it is now. It is about 10 minutes in length. Incident occours at about a minute forty seconds into video.
